Sharing Beyond Books #334 Comment Giveaway December 30, 2017

Hello again and Welcome to Sharing Beyond Books, SBB!
I hope everyone enjoyed a beautiful time of holiday. We are having a great visit with family but hubby and I (and our dogs) are cold in these under 10° temps.

It is strange to think we are on the edge of another New Year! My SBB question list is dwindling so I am thinking of going to a bi-weekly post. We'll see. Right now I expect to be on the road next Saturday returning home. Accordingly I am running this Giveaway for two weeks to January 13, 2018.

HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
Only two commentors, Miki and Lily, have bookish pillows. The other 17 of us don't have any but like the idea stating they are "cute", "fun", we "like them" or "love them".
~~~~~
The Winner from SBB #333 comments is: #2 Linda who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated (**Finally!) ARC/Review titles or (recently updated) Love and Christmas titles - all linked near the end of the post.
**NOTE: I did post an Updated ARC and Other books for Giveaways. I have to go back and list the titles -- someday.
Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.
WEEK #334
(One Question.)
MaryP asks: Have you ever cooked something using a recipe included in a novel??
Since I don't cook my answer is easy "no". I do occasionally give recipes to my husband to try but I can't think of one he has made. I will say that he finds recipes on facebook and tries them. This week he surprised me by having our daughter-in-law make gooey cookies. I LOVE gooey and they were delicious!
Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.
December Questions were provided by: Mystica, Nikki, Miki and Mary. Random.org picked 1 so Mystica gets a GC. Thank You all.
Your turn to share. MaryP asks: Have you ever cooked something using a recipe included in a novel??
SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Updated ARC and Other books, including the "Love" and Christmas titles all in one post.
SBB Rules:
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on the question above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday January 13, 2018 at 5 PM central.
  7. As a rule, I don't like cooking theme in my books. The few ones I have encountered were from English speaking authors, therefore all measurements had to me converted and the products used were foreign for my country.
  8. Congrats, Linda!
    I cook recipes from novels if they are included. I always cook at least one from the book. :-)
    Happy New Year to you all!
  9. I read lots of cozy mysteries and many of them have recipes. I have made a couple recipes from the author Karen Rose Smith---and they are tasty. Also I get lots of ideas from the recipes even if I don't follow them exactly.
  10. "Have you ever cooked something using a recipe included in a novel??" Unfortunately no, I have not read a book which is talking about cook inside yet. But it'd be such a good idea though.
