Sharing Beyond Books #332 Comment Giveaway December 10, 2017

Hello again and Welcome to Sharing Beyond Books, SBB!

Thanks to everyone who commented last week. Many noted that Pride & Prejudice seemed to lead the adaptation pack. Sue mentioned Sherlock Holmes which is another good one for spin offs. Alina suggested Shakespeare has a number of adaptations. There were five mentions of Beauty and the Beast, three of Cinderella, two of fairy tale re-tellings generally and five couldn't think of any others.

~~~~~
The Winner from SBB #331 comments is: #6 Fredamans who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated (**Finally!) ARC/Review titles or (recently updated) Love and Christmas titles - all linked near the end of the post.
**NOTE: I did post an Updated ARC and Other books for Giveaways. I have to go back and list the titles -- someday.
Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.
WEEK #332
(One Question.)
Nikki asks: When reading Hardcovers, do you remove the cover jackets first??
This question came at a good time as I just received two hardback books for review. I have not removed the cover jackets. I see that I will use them as a bookmark for part of the reading - near front and back - but I might need a real bookmark for the middle.
Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.
Your turn to share. Nikki asks: When reading Hardcovers, do you remove the cover jackets first??
SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Updated ARC and Other books, including the "Love" and Christmas titles all in one post.
SBB Rules:
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on the question above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday December 16, 2017 at 5 PM central.
  1. Congrats Fredamans. Sometimes I do. If it's a library book or borrowed from someone I leave it on.
  3. I haven’t read a hardback in ages and the ones I have at home are without the cover jackets, but if I had a book with one I’d definitely take it off.
  7. If the dust cover keeps slipping I will take it off. Otherwise it does serve as a bookmark.
  12. I most definitely remove the jackets to keep them safe as I use bookmarks. I can't imagine tearing the jacket while reading the book.
