Sharing Beyond Books #331 Comment Giveaway December 2, 2017

Hello again and Welcome to Sharing Beyond Books, SBB!

Thanks to everyone who commented last week. Only one out of 19 of us might purchase a book if it was a favorite author or she was pre-ordering the book anyway. One other might enter if she had already purchased the book. The rest of us would choose not to purchase the book for contest entry.

The Winner from SBB #330 comments is: #16 Rubynreba who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated (**Finally!) ARC/Review titles or (recently updated) Love and Christmas titles - all linked near the end of the post.

**NOTE: I did post an Updated ARC and Other books for Giveaways. I have to go back and list the titles -- someday.
Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.

WEEK #331
(One Question.)

Mystica asks: The P&P [Pride and Prejudice] book has got so many spin offs its unimaginable the extent to which it has now grown. Is there any other book which has created an interest like this??
I know that there are spin offs for Beauty and the Beast and other fairy tales but I am not aware of another book that has as many spin offs or adaptations as P&P.

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.

Your turn to share. Mystica asks: The P&P [Pride and Prejudice] book has got so many spin offs its unimaginable the extent to which it has now grown. Is there any other book which has created an interest like this??

SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Updated ARC and Other books, including the "Love" and Christmas titles all in one post.

SBB Rules:
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on the question above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday December 9, 2017 at 5 PM central.

  1. Cinderella immediately comes to mind, especially in romance genre.

  2. My first thought was fairy tale re-tellings. There seem to be quite a lot of them.

  3. Congrats to the winner. I truly can't think of another book that has come close to P&P. The fairy tales like Martha said. Beauty & the Beast.

  4. no idea; don't read them

  5. Congrats to the winner!
For me, Cinder created a huge buzz and frankly, is my favorite retelling. The whole series is amazeballs though.

  6. I can't think of another one... maybe some of Shakespeare's plays?
    Congrats Rubynreba!

  7. Congrats Rubynreba!

I can't think of any others.

  8. Cinderella or other fairy tales. :)

  9. Congrats Rubynreba!
I can't rink of any other books besides Pride & Prejudice. I know some fairy tales have some spin offs.

  10. I've seen a few Beauty and the Beast tropes too. But nothing beats Pride and Prejudice.

  11. No, I can't think of any! Thanks for the Win!!!

  12. I'm thinking of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries---recently there have been a lot of new versions.

  13. The only thing I can think of is Beauty and the Beast.

  14. Fairy tale retellings with Beauty & the Beast being one of the most popular.
