Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
Most of the commenters would pay off debt, particularly mortgages of their own or family. A couple would pay off house renovations; a couple would travel; and several would make donations to help others.

WEEK #311
(One Question.)
Poetryinleaves asks: Can you relate any part of the story you are currently reading or have read to an event in your life??
Hmmm - I just finished a paranormal about gods...so that is not really relatable to my life. I also finished a small town romance that included a lawyer and an author so that is sort of relatable. I am reading a poetry book that praises God and His guiding hand in our lives. Now THAT I relate to!

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading a cozy mystery that has recipes---so I can relate to the cooking and try the recipes, but certainly can't relate to the murder part.

ReplyDeleteAs for the current book I'm reading, it's a thriller, and thankfully I have no connection to the story at all.
I just finished a story told in different time lines and contrasting a love story between an orthodox Jew and a Christian and the insurmountable obstacles they faced, then and now.
ReplyDeleteI dont know whether any similarities in my life other than the fact that my husband and I are different races, different religions. Yes it was tough before we got married!
I just started a contemporary romance and so far I have nothing in common with the characters.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading a couple of books - the paranormal/fantasy book doesn't compare to my life, yet the contemporary one is somewhat closer, since it's more realistic and modern day. :)
ReplyDeleteI am reading a romance by Nora Roberts and I don't have anything in common with the characters.
