I noticed the blue on this little bird at our new gazebo bird feeder.
Here I zoomed in to try to get a better shot but it is still quite fuzzy.
Below the bird feeders this little fellow was picking up dropped goodies until our dogs took chase.
Our Princess is able to see them when she stands on the chair by the window and she will take off racing.

The squirrel paused on the tree to scold the dogs.

I love your bluebird.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean about the haze though this week Martha - was it humid the day you took the pics? It looks like your lens might have fogged up.
Interesting world outside your window! Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteWhat an intriguing little bird.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours on the bird. What kind of bird is it?
ReplyDeleteI love the little blue bird so cute -
ReplyDeleteFuzzy, but still a beautiful shade of blue on that bird!
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to watch animals in their natural habitat. It looks like you have a lovely backyard.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bird, and the squirrel pictures are so fun. Fuzzy through the screen, yes, but it would have been hard to capture those outside I'm guessing (they may have run off). Here’s my Saturday snapshot post.

What an unusual bird! It's so difficult to get close to birds without scaring them off.
ReplyDeleteThat bird is so pretty -- I have never seen one like that before! I love watching birds come to feeders, and those squirrels are never far away from the food, haha!
ReplyDeleteHere is my SATURDAY SNAPSHOT post.
You know something? Every time I see a squirrel or a bird and wanted to take a picture of either, I'm never fast enough. Lol.
ReplyDeleteOn campus where I go to school there are squirrels everywhere! They'll run and chase each other, or chase people around. It's hilarious. They also go up and beg people for food. They're very funny.
