Sharing Beyond Books #369 Comment Giveaway May 18, 2019

Hello again and Welcome back to Sharing Beyond Books, SBB.

Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
Three of the commenters don't really have favorite heroine/hero types and another says it varies based on genre. Three mentioned intelligence (smart), two mentioned confident and witty and two mentioned animal lovers. Other characteristics ranged from demure to not crying for females and strong & silent to strong personalities for the men. Also sassy, good-natured and bad boy types.

The Winner from SBB #368 comments is: #11 KIMBERLY who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated (**Finally!) ARC/Review titles or (recently updated) Love and Christmas titles - all linked near the end of the post. -- [12/15/18 I am pulling out some new Christmas and Love titles to add to the Win box choices. I had to move the books due to the water threat in office. I will dig them out again soon.]

**NOTE: I did post an Updated ARC and Other books for Giveaways. I have to go back and list the titles -- someday.
Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.

WEEK #369
(Two Question.)

Elizabeth asks: Who is your favorite Games of Thrones character (from the TV show and/or the book series)?? I'll add a question: If you haven't read or watched Game of Thrones do you think you will??
There are definitely some intriguing characters. I do like Arya, especially as the "No One" assassin. I do think my favorite character, even if not the most interesting, is Jon Snow. And the best villain, at least until last week, was Cersie. Although if I think back there actually were some horrendous, evil, characters like Ramsey Bolten.

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.
May comments were shared by Emily and Elizabeth. They both get the first 1/2 credit towards a book pick.

Your turn to share. Elizabeth asks: Who is your favorite Games of Thrones character (from the TV show and/or the book series)?? I'll add a question: If you haven't read or watched Game of Thrones do you think you will??

SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Updated ARC and Other books, including the "Love" and Christmas titles all in one post.

SBB Rules:
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on the question above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday June 1, 2019 at 5 PM central.

I haven't seen or read Games of Thrones yet. I was going to try and watch it but haven't found the time yet to do that. I might try reading it though too.

  3. I enjoy both the books and the TV series. Tyrion is my favourite, but I also like Arya.

  4. I read the 1st book in the series years ago & quite liked it then but I doubt I will continue with the series now, with all the hype with the TV series which I've not watched or intend to.

  6. I feel like the only person left who hasn't watched Game of Thrones.
I like heroines who are strong and I love it when the hero learns from the heroine and vice versa.
    Enjoy your week!

  7. I tried watching 2 seasons, but I had to give up on it... I couldn't take the violence :) But I kind of rooted for Sansa, Cersie and Daenerys :))
