Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
I think I was a little surprised by the answers to last week's question. 10 of us chose to be the boss and only 4 believed they would be better as employees. One was willing to accept her situation and the final noted that being a supervisor stuck between the boss and the other employees is most difficult.

WEEK #301
(One Question.)
My question: Do you have any quirky reading lists or habits??I think my 'lists' are a little quirky or maybe just guided by the challenges I choose. I like to line up books, especially getting a stack of NetGalley titles in December, that I can count towards TBR. Then I outline my Alphabet Challenge trying to line up TBR ebooks and audios from A-Z so I get both TBR and Alphabet Challenge credit. Sadly that means I tend Not to read current books bought so I will probably never join that challenge. :-) I also try to plan out a schedule that will allow a certain number of tours each year which of course will usually be new acquisitions that won't count toward the huge TBR pile.

My Kindle shelf alone is more than twice that.
Even reading 3 books a week I still feel compelled to read TBRs!

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.
Your turn to share: My question: Do you have any quirky reading lists or habits??

I do nit have any quirky reading habits but I think yours sounds very methodical.not quirky at all.
ReplyDeleteI do love list. I wouldn't call them my genre/trope lists because I add books across genres, but they must have something that make them stand out. For example, I have a list of books with characters who are dyslexic or have high IQ... As for my reading habits, the only thing I can think of is that I don't like challenges and reading commitments. I don't plan ahead and I don't like to feel obligated to read/review a book. NetGalley is definitely not for me.
ReplyDeletei don't think i have or i can't think of any
ReplyDeleteI love making lists too! Especially of my review book piles or my monthly reading goal lists. I don't have any other quirky habits that I can think of.

ReplyDeleteNo I don't.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Sue! I don;t have any reading quirks.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't have any quirky reading habits. I do need to organize my books though.
ReplyDeleteMy currently reading list features my review books, library books (includes those on hold - love the ebook options), ebooks on my kindle, various audiobooks, and my shelves of print books. Then, I have a to read wish list of books that I want to read, yet don't own.
ReplyDeleteThe only quirk I have with my reading habits is that I won't read the most recent book in my favorite series until the next book in the series is published.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Sue. I have no quirky reading habits.

I don't make lists or piles. No quirky reading habits. I just read what I feel like.
ReplyDeleteNo. I don't even create reading lists.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Sue!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any quirky reading habits. I sometimes make a reading list, but I normally just read whatever interests me at that moment.
I only have a list of books I've read for review purposes. Reading habits? Not so quirky I think. Although I like switching between happy and sad or scary books.
ReplyDeleteIf I have a reading quirk, it is the fact that I
ReplyDeleteam always reading at least, 2 or more books at a time!
Thanks, Cindi
I can't get to sleep at night until I read a chapter or two from a book. Then if it is really good, I read on and on and lose a lot of sleep that way!!!
