MBS Blogoversary -- Celebrating Three Years!

Well - I guess you can say I have been super busy since I am even late for my own BLOGOVERSARY PARTY! YIKES! It doesn't really seem like three years but it is... with lots of reviews, giveaways and interviews shared. :-)  And more to come of course!

I didn't get the chance this year to line up sponsors but I have a big Grand Prize to share in celebration.
Because I love reading and I love my e-reader (a Kindle) plus I have Nook on my Tablet, and I want to share the love of ebooks with my blogger followers, I am giving away ....:

A NOOK Simple Touch With GlowLight

Now - some people may already have a reader or a tablet, so I am offering a $50.00 Gift Card as an alternative -- winner's choice.

Also-  I haven't checked the postage cost for various countries, but as long as the postage is under $50.00 I will send the Nook worldwide!

Keep a watch out because I will be posting some other book prizes over the next two weeks.

NOTE - winner will be announced a day or two after the close of the contest and the post will include the Winners Form link to claim the prizes.

  1. Congrats Martha! Happy 3 yr. blogoversary!

I would love to celebrate with you by having a great dinner and reading these two books:

    1. The Unholy by Heather Graham
    2. Close Your Eyes by Iris Johansen

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  2. Congrats on the milestone and Happy Blogoversary! :)

In terms of celebrating, I'd suggest going for a girls night out with drinks to toast the occasion while talking and sharing about all things books. :) As for what book I'd like to celebrate with... it's hard to choose just one particular book, but perhaps the one you wrote your first review on for this blog? Or an upcoming anticipated release?

  3. It would be great if we could ( the followers) gathers all together to celebrate with you , a barbecue party or something ( depending on the weather because here it's rainingç_ç)and we could all thank you for the book you made us read or the meeting you created ( in 3years that's possible^^;;)

It could be great also to make a giant swap each of us offering/echanging a book of our favorite with another. i would choose one Patricia Briggs ^^ i love the hob bargain and Mercy thompson

I know it's dreams because a lot are international but still it would be a wonderful experience

I would totally read Ernest Cline's Ready Player One again...just because I have this empty feeling after I finished it.

    Lilian @ A Novel Toybox

  7. Happy blogoversary! More power to your blog Martha!! :)

    Cherry Mischievous

Since we're so far from each other, i can only offer you congratulations. And since i'm a big fan of JD Robb, why don't we celebrate by reading In Death series for a whole month :D

  9. Congrats on your blogoversary, and wow, what a great giveaway! I'm planning to celebrate with you by reading/rereading some of the excellent posts on your blog, such as your Bossypants review from January. So happy that I won this book from you a couple of months ago - still need to read it, but it seems like an excellent celebration book, doesn't it?

  10. Happy Happy Birthday!!! :) Hope you have a fabulous party! I am a huge new fan of Ruthie Knox, have you tried her?? Excellent contemporary romance writer, I was blown away by her this spring.

    Happy birthday again :)

  11. Congrats on your blogoversary! What's a celebration without cake? Here's some cake. Thanks for the chance to win!

That would really be because that is how I am...I don't know what I want to read next till I just pick it. So surprise me.

  21. I love your site! Happy blogoversary. Yours is one of the first book blogs I began following. Lots of fun. I love to read "light and fluffy feel good books". One of my favorites is The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler. I also love post apocalyptic books too. Such a contrast. Once I finish a post apocalyptic, then I reach for a light and fluffy. 77 Days in September was a good one.

Books I would recommend to anyone who loves a good paranormal is the Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series by Larissa Ione. Great world building, characters, action, and romance. Definitely one of my favorite series :)

  39. Hi Martha! Happy Blog Anniversary. Thank you for sharing your love of reading with us. I like finding new authors and books and your blog is a great place to find this. Even for books that have been long-released but are a great find!

I would celebrate by making a virtual collage of important or special events on your blog. Posts about your favorite reads, snapshots of your shelves over the years and the best thing you like about blogging! That would be fun.

Of course you can't celebrate a book blog's blogging success without books...I know I would want to have Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness around :)

Have another fantastic year blogging and reading!

  40. Happy Blogoversary Martha. Wishing you many more to come. Your reviews, giveaways and posts are always informative, helpful and entertaining.I think the best celebrations are where you and your followers come together and toast your three years with bubbly champagne and pastries. We'd all bring a book so we could have a book swap.
