I have been wanting to participate in Saturday Snapshot and hope it's okay that I show case our Alaskan cruise through this forum. I plan to do a group of pics in a slide show over the next weeks before we head off to Hawaii.
This first set is Day One and Day Three. ( I must have been reading and relaxing because no photos on day two.)
Several of these photos look like postcard images the days were so beautiful.
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
The clouds in that photo are beautiful, and the mountains in your other photos are stunning! And yes, sharing your vacation photos for Saturday Snapshot is perfectly fine - wonderful in fact! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you here at Sat Snapshot - welcome! Crusing through Alaska is one of my dream holiday destinations (except I tend to get seasick very easily). The glacier pictures are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHi Brona-
DeleteThanks for visiting. I have even better glacier pictures coming up from our visit to Juneau.
The mountains are beautiful, but I couldn't do a cruise. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/LAoN2
ReplyDeleteHello Christine - Yes the mountains throughout this visit were wonderful. See my comments this week about cruising. It is a grand way to travel. :-)
DeleteThanks for commenting.
Looking forward to most photos of your trip.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kaye - I'm popping over to see your posts too. :-)
DeleteI cruised up to Alaska in the 80s, it was gorgeous then as now of course.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting Louise. This was a cruise I have long wanted to do. My DH wasn't so interested but I think he enjoyed it in the end.
DeleteBeautiful photos, can't believe the ship has waterslides, how cool.
ReplyDeleteHey Teddyree - I was surprised by the waterslides too. That would make sense on a warm Caribbean cruise but I thought it might be too "cool" in Alaska. :-)
