Recognizing WHY We Celebrate

While we celebrate with joy the birth of Jesus, it is important to recognize Why it is so important.
It may not be easy to understand God's plan, but I give thanks that Jesus was ... Born to Die.

  1. I realize that Christ died for our sins but the magic (even the Christian kind) seems to be falling apart. My oldest is pulling away from our family and it's killing us with his self destructive behavior. Our family isn't like it used to be and we aren't a family....that's what I mean. People seem to be withdrawing from the good things is life, family and friends.....and I don't know why.

  2. Anonymous - I am so sorry for your pain and confusion. There is so much of the world that we get caught up in and that pulls us away from the important things like family and friends. Sometimes - actually all the time - the best thing we can do is to focus on God and cry out in prayer for wisdom to take the right steps to help our children and ourselves through the trauma. I've added you and your family to my prayer list.
