None of us (19) who answered subscribe to Inoreader. It appeared that Marjorie was one of the few who had heard of it.

St. James asks: Who among your readers give books for Christmas gifts or other gifting times (birthdays, mother's day, valentines, etc.)??
I almost always give books to the grandchildren at Christmas and other holidays. I also gift books to some few family and friends who are readers.
Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.

I used to give books all the time, but now all the adult children want now is cash. I buy bookish gifts for myself now. :-)

I prefer to gift a GC rather than books so that the person can choose the book they want
ReplyDeleteI give to family and friends either at Christmas or their birthdays. I think my sister-in-law gives books to her friends mostly on their birthdays.
