We spent a good part of today with the grandkids - pancake breakfast, fun in the pool and hamburger lunch.

WEEK #156 (One Question.)
Q1. bn100 asks: If you could grow anything in your garden, what would you grow??
A: I like this question. We are enjoying corn, tomatoes, green peppers, brussel sprouts and lettuce from our garden. I hope we will get some strawberries too. What didn't grow, that I would like, is asparagus.
One Hundred Dollars a Month.
Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! We still have a supply of questions but from the same people so hopefully others will send more in -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify to use.
Your turn to share:

SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Valentine and "Love" books, the Christmas Giveaway Books (this is the new link), or the June 2013 Newly Updated ARC/Review List.
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on either of the two questions above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday June 28, 2014 at 5 PM central.
I'm the worlds worst gardener. I think that's because I don't enjoy gardening. Happy NOT to grow weeds.ReplyDelete
Currently, I don't have a garden, yet I'd prefer a wide variety of vegetables.ReplyDelete

We are growing grape and full size tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, 2 types of lettuce, green beans, jalapenos, cilantro and asparagus. Love it when fresh veggies are able to picked.ReplyDelete

I would plant cherry tomatoes, I can never get enough of them.ReplyDelete
Where I live they don't allow gardens, too bad.
I grow basil, parsley, bell peppers and jalapenos indoors but if I had an outdoor garden, I would grow tomatoes, carrots and potatoes. :-)
I currently grow a few tomatoes, a little chard and kale, some lettuce, and herbs. But I wish I could grow corn---I love corn on the cob.ReplyDelete
I grow corn, bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers and yellow squash.ReplyDelete
If I could grow anything...well, maybe a fruit tree. I'm thinking mangoes! With my tiny yard, that isn't going to happen and I doubt my neighbors would like it too. I'm growing strawberries, green bell peppers and zucchini this year. Hopefully all goes well. It's my first time! Oh, I even have a flower that my son gave to me for mother's day outside next to my strawberries.ReplyDelete
Lemons, so useful & versatile for baking! Mint & beans.ReplyDelete
IF I could, I'd have a whole greenhouse of veggies, fruit trees, and loads of flowers! But alas, I don't have green fingers and only cactus seem to put up with me.ReplyDelete
