Sharing Beyond Books #451 Comment Giveaway October 15, 2022

Welcome to Sharing Beyond Books. (Note - I am going to continue to post monthly now, probably through the end of the year. This one runs through November 19, 2022.)

Thanks to everyone who commented on the last question.
Last post SBB#450:  Marjorie asked: Do you still mask going shopping even though you do not have too??
Six commenters said "Yes" they are still wearing masks most of the time. Three of us said "no". We are only wearing in locations (like doctor offices) where required, or if we aren't feeling well.

The Winner from SBB#450 comments is #6 ASHFA who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated (**Finally!) ARC/Review titles or (recently updated) Love and Christmas titles - all linked near the end of the post. -- [9-18-2021 I have added a new box and crossed off books no longer available through August 2021.]

Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.
WEEK #451
(One Question.)
Elizabeth asks: Where do you keep track of books that you've read, as well as want to read? Any online suggestions??
I have tracked books on Goodreads for about 10 years (even though I joined in 2008). I have kept the lists on the blog since 2009 and I've had an annual spreadsheet for four years. I have a WORD document list from 2001 to 2005. After that I had a special booklist software program from 2006 to 2009 when I started the blog. I am not sure I can find the password to access that program so that is awkward. Fortunately, I have lists of favorite authors and the books checked off on the author lists showing those read in those years.

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month, I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a 1/2 book choice or $2.50 towards GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify them.
October question was provided by ELIZABETH who gets a GC credit.

Your turn to share.

  1. Congrats to the winner!

I keep track on Goodreads and Litsy. Both are great bookish platforms that build communities of like-minded people.

  2. I track through Goodreads. Also I have a word doc that I keep a list of how many books I read throughout the year.

  3. I'm lazy, no Goodreads. I can remember what I've read of I see the cover. No trackers. I also know which books I haven't read and want/need to read

  4. I do not keep track of the books that I read, however, I have ordered the same book twice.
