Blurb: The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town’s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury’s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings’s devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya’s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya’s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.

In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

Finished this week:

PB:  ------

Audible:  --------

Kindle2: The Midnight Effect by Pamela Fryer – Romantic Suspense paranormal. Very Good! Review to be posted at CataRomances.

Sometimes Murphy Wins by Cassidy McKay -- A lightly erotic, fun contemporary romance with a bit of ghostly interference! Review to be posted at YGR.

Miss Bisque and the Colonel by Carol North. This contemporary romance was different and very interesting - an emotional growth for the heroine.  Starts a bit slow but when it gets going its an emotional ride and you do not want to stop reading! Reviewing for the author will be posted here at MBS.

Sunday Words of Encouragement October 11, 2009

We missed regular service this morning as we were away for our daughter's wedding.

This video has beautiful pictures from God's creation with a wonderful song!

Here is a beautiful blessing for marriage:

Apache Wedding Blessing

Now you will feel no rain
For each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now each of you will feel no cold
For each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no loneliness for you
For each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons
But there is one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place to enter into the days of your togetherness
And may your days be good and long upon the earth.
