Welcome to Martha’s Bookshelf Two Year Blogoversary Celebration! I set up my blog on
June 15, 2009 although I didn’t really post until June 18, 2009. Check this post to see the
history of why I started the blog. My first meme on July 19 was It's Monday, What are you Reading, hosted then by J.Kaye Book Blog and my first review, of
Blind Fortune, was posted July 21. Since then I have posted approximately 217 reviews, 30 author interviews and 15 author guest posts. And as my dear followers know - lots of Giveaways.
I wanted a blogoversary event to say THANK YOU to my
1116 followers and to showcase some of the authors and publishers who have provided books for me to read and review.
I have approximately 25 posts planned to spotlight authors and publishers who agreed to offer a giveaway for the party! There are eBooks for worldwide entries, print books and a few other special items as well.
Each event post will have this Sponsor icon.
It would be especially appreciated if you comment to thank the sponsors!
On July 15 I will post the Grand Giveaway form with books up for grabs (so to speak).
To Enter you must be a GFC; GFC followers prior to June 16 will get extra credits.
Also there will be extra points for
- following on twitter, facebook and goodreads. +1 each follow
- Tweeting or promoting on facebook +3, awarded for up to two tweets/FB post in different weeks; i.e. total available is 6+ for promoting in two different weeks
- meaningful comments made from June 1 through July 15 on interview, review and comment posts of any date will count extra (except normal giveaway entries as they already apply toward that giveaway)
- posting the Giveaway button on sidebar of blog or wall. +3
I still have some scheduled reviews and interviews for the month so please continue to support those too.
PLEASE NOTE: Comments made on posts, particularly interviews and non-giveaway posts, from June 1 to July 15 will count extra. I may just pop in a surprise giveaway now and then along the way.
Each individual giveaway will have it's own Giveaway Form and entry instructions.
1. When entering a giveaway, pay attention to the instructions. They may be different depending upon the giveaway.
2. Please make sure to pay close attention to the shipping on each giveaway. Some are open to US citizens only, others US/Canada and others will be open internationally.
3. You can enter as many event giveaways as you want.
4. All giveaways will run for approximately two weeks, the end date to be noted in each giveaway, with the Grand Giveaway starting on July 15 and ending on July 29th. In accordance with my new Giveaway Protocols all winners will be announced on Saturdays. Winners will have 4 days to respond by completing the Winner Form or emailing me at mesreads(at)gmail(dot)com or another winner will be chosen.
I will be updating this post with each new Giveaway as they might get too long for the usual top of the blog list.
