We are blessed through Messianic promises. Galatians 3:15-18. If we belong to Christ we also receive the promises made to Abraham. Galatians 3:29.
Our ‘energy battery’ is our faith in God. We may have our faith in our mind, but to use it in our physical being, we have to be connected. The mind ‘cable’ has to be hooked into the battery to jump start the physical. We need to speak the power or declare the promise to experience it. There are times we can acknowledge that God healed us even though the healing is not yet fully manifested in our bodies.
An encouraging word was given by one of our congregation. It went with the sermon but, in my mind, was more succinct. It basically said, with God as the speaker:
I created the world from nothing. I spoke it into being. I created children with no seed. Believe in Me and accept the blessings I have for you. Nothing is impossible for Me.
We must recognize the message: 'God said it, I believe it, I'm gonna receive it.'
We need to not only stand on the promises, but to speak them too.
I didn’t find a really good version of this song.
This seemed to have the clearest words in the signing.
A Verse for Today:2 Corinthians 1:20 (NIV)
20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
I thank God for giving me faith and increasing my faith by experiences in seeing His creation, grace and faithfulness all around me. I pray Lord that you will always help me speak and declare Your many promises in my life and that the blessings will flow to bless others, for Your Glory.
