Idealistic Fiona is headstrong, but even she cannot live up to her own standards and her naivety leads from one compromising situation to another. Roger, on the other hand, is already emotionally scarred, devastated by the loss of his mother, and his encounters only serve to gauge ever deeper wounds, until, that is, he finally meets Fiona. Yet, is the happiness they find too good to be true?

What are you Reading Monday? June 7, 2010

This meme starts at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books!
What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

I felt like I got a lot done during the work week; not so much reading/reviewing/blogging.
Although as I think of it I was doing some posting for YGR Video winners and Blogmania Sponsors at eTreasures. Also I have been preparing a calendar and guest features coming up this month and next.
I did get to visit some others blogs, including some visits with author friends at Coffee Time Romance June Jubilee where The Sweetest Romance authors are being spotlighted this month.

Reading was only fair and reviews slow - three a week only keeps me current and doesn't get me caught up.

Finished:

PB: Damage Control by Amy J. Fetzer
Good suspense with lots of action and good romance!
Review to be sent to Romance Junkies.
Product Description

Damage ControlTwo Against The World
Explosives expert Sebastian Fontenot has patience in spades-whether he's deactivating bombs or gritting out three days beneath a pile of rubble. But when the hard-bodied operative learns his oldest friend is in trouble, he flies into action-and ends up on the Artic Circle, where a sexy scientist holds clues that threaten his mission-and her life-.
Olivia Corrigan can handle men. But Sebastian Fontenot is like no other she's encountered: hot as hell and in danger of thinking he can order her around with that delicious drawl of his. Lucky for her, the mesmerizing mercenary is on her side. And it's a good thing, too. Once they stumble onto a horrifying international cover up, it's up to Olivia and Sebastian to keep their hands off each other just long enough to keep a dangerous power from falling into the wrong hands-.

Sunday Words of Encouragement June 6, 2010

This morning we were ministered to by Exalt Music Ministries, Trumpeter Jeff Perkins. Very wonderful.
I liked this thought: We are not always in tune or in step with the Holy Spirit; but no matter what we have done, God loves us.  If we are ashamed to call Jesus' name in front of many, then Jesus will not call our name in front of  the ONE.

This was our Choir Offering Song and it is very powerful.

A Verse for today:
English Standard Version (©2001)
Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

This morning we sang "Jesus Loves Me" and "God Bless America." I prayed for our leaders and our country. I also prayed that I might be more in step with the Spirit.
