Help Me Pick My Next Audible Read

I have some really good books lined up to read on my Audible and I will get to purchase two more under my subscription this week.  (I get two new book credits on the 19th of each month.)

I need help to decide which Audible to listen to next.  Here are my choices:
I am pretty sure (unless someone makes a recommendation that I can't resist) that I will buy these two books on 3/19 as I really want to read them:

#1. Outside In
by Maria J. Snyder

by JD Robb

I already own these ready to read
(and  few others I am not listing yet).
With so many good choices see why I need help picking?

 #3. One Second After
by William R. Forstchen
by Julie Kagawa

#5. Darkfever (Fever Series, Book 1)
by Karen Marie Moning
by Patricia Briggs

#7. The 39 Clues Book 1: The Maze Of Bones - Audio
by Rick Riordan
by Janet Evanovich

#9. First Comes Marriage (Huxtable Series)
by Mary Balogh

#10. Fancy Pants
by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

SO there you go: 10 choices.  I numbered them to make noting a choice easy by number if you want. Or you can make a new recommendation if there is an Audible book you really think I should read next and it is not on my list.

Here's how this Giveaway will work:

Make a comment picking TWO Audible books you want me to read next. I will read the book that gets the most votes, then probably (no guarantee) the book with the second most votes.  (I reserve the right to pick the second read from the remaining choices just because I could change may mind right?)
I will do a random draw to select TWO winners from all commenters.
Any US or Canadian winner will get their choice of an audio book below OR from the February Love Books for Giveaway, the December Giveaway list OR the back review and ARC lists. (Scroll down at that post to see those lists.) Any International winner will get the same book choices if postage is under $8.00 or an $8.00 Gift Card, PayPal or Book Depository selection.

Ends March 18th at 10pm Central because I will be ready to make my purchases on the 19th!!

Here are Audiobooks a comment winner can choose from if they would rather have audio than print book:

It's Monday! What are you Reading March 14, 2011?

This meme starts at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books!
What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

I had another good reading week, finishing four books- two on Audible; actually five books if you count The Copper Beech Audio by Maeve Binchy.   I posted three reviews, two with ARC Giveaways; an author Q&A Interview; the Enquiring meme post; two blog tour posts and my Sunday post.

I did visit at least 10 blogs over the week although I didn't get to visit back to my Monday Reading visitors. I plan to visit them all this week.
These were last week's posts plus Winner posts not listed.
Finished Reading:
The Linen Queen: A Novel
The Linen Queen by Patricia Falvey - Hachette Fiction.
A different and enjoyable read. I will post my review and ARC Giveaway on Wednesday.

Pale Demon: Library Edition (The Hollows)Audible:
by Kim Harrison.
I really enjoy this series. Very intense.
I'll post a review later this week; maybe Saturday.

Kindle:
God Wars: Living With Angels God Wars: Living With Angels
by Rob Tobin.
This was not what I expected and it was interesting.
Review, Author Guest Post and eBook Giveaway to be posted on Tuesday 3/15 as part of Bewitching Blog Tours.
Product Description
Sixteen-year-old old gymnast, Diana Jalinowski, had it all, including a shot at the Olympics, thanks to her talent, dedication, and a strange “other” power that allowed her to do things others couldn’t. Then a deranged hoodlum drove Diana off the road and into a wheelchair, killing her family in the process.
Years later, as a paraplegic law student, Diana meets Professor Lessage, an odd, brooding man who talks her into doing a paper on the legal ramifications of the Salem Witch trials. Suddenly Diana’s life takes another sharp turn, right into witchcraft, a demon she can’t resist, an angel she can’t trust, 3-foot tall aliens she can’t defeat, and the chance to get even with all the bad people out there… unless of course she destroys the world in the process.
Diana has justice in her hands, and she’s really, really pissed off.
Audible:
by Jeanne C. Stein
This was a book I won but
I decided to read it on Audible.
I will say it wasn't
my favorite narration.
I will do a review and giveaway for the book soon.

Welcome to Last Chance by Hope Ramsay
I am two thirds through this very fun read.
Review and Hachette giveaway to post on Thursday 3/17.
Welcome to Last ChanceDear Reader,
Yes, our town is way off the beaten path, but strange, wonderful miracles happen a lot around here.
I've owned the Cut 'n' Curl beauty shop for years, and I've seen folks come for a visit, then stay for a lifetime. Take Jane-that pretty firecracker of a girl who just arrived in town. I would swear she's running from something. She came with only five dollars in her pocket but she's worked real hard to make a fresh start. She's turned my son Clay's life upside down without even realizing it.
And thank goodness for that! Ever since Clay left his country western band, he's played everything too safe. He needs to take a chance on Jane. Besides, the more he tries to keep his distance, the more he'll realize that he and Jane are singing the same tune.
But I should quit ramblin' and go check on Millie's permanent wave. Next time you're in Last Chance, be sure to swing by. We've got hot rollers, free coffee, and the best gossip in town.
See you real soon,
Ruby Rhodes

I am just starting this for review post on 3/22.
Product Description
THE MORE YOU KNOW ABOUT THE FUTURE, THE MORE THERE MAY BE TO FEAR. Tara Sheridan is the best criminal profiler around—and the most unconventional. Trained as a forensic psychologist, Tara also specializes in Tarot card reading. But she doesn’t need her divination skills to realize that the new assignment from her friend and sometime lover, Agent Harry Li, is a dangerous proposition in every way.
Former Cold War operatives, all linked to a top-secret operation tracking the disposal of nuclear weapons in Russia, are disappearing. There are no bodies, and no clues to their whereabouts. Harry suspects a conspiracy to sell arms to the highest bidder. The cards—and Tara’s increasingly ominous dreams—suggest something darker. Even as Tara sorts through her feelings for Harry and her fractured relationship with the mysterious order known as Delphi’s Daughters, a killer is growing more ruthless by the day. And a nightmare that began decades ago in Chernobyl will reach a terrifying endgame that not even Tara could have foreseen. . . .

Sunday Words of Encouragement March 13, 2011

It was so nice to be in church this morning. I tried to sing in choir but my notes were mostly silent. I could only make sound on the lower notes - but we had enough basses singing. :-0

Pastor spoke on "My Ebenezer." Okay - what is the first thing you think of when you hear/see "Ebenezer"? Ebenezer Scrooge right? But the Biblical Ebenezer means "stone of help." When the Israelites defeated the Philistines, Samuel set up the memorial rock and said "Thus far the Lord has helped us." (See the verse for today below.)

Pastor reminded us to "raise our Ebenezers" often as memorials to God's help in our lives. We should Praise Him, Trust Him, have Faith in Him and do our human part by connecting and Commit to Him.

I looked at several videos with this song and
choose this one because it is very upbeat and vibrant.
I like the message and hope you enjoy it too!
A Verse for Today:
1 Samuel 7:12 (NIV)
12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer,[b] saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”

We prayed for the Japanese Tsunami victims and survivors this morning. Sometimes we are locked in our own small circle of life and forget the pains, struggles and joys too, of those throughout the world. Let's try to remember to pray for one another from one end of the earth to the other.
