Our first meal from the garden was a week ago and included potatoes and garlic.
Here is a photo of the fresh picked goodies.
Here is the cooked meal.

This week we had beans and green peppers.
Soon we will have corn and tomatoes.
It has been a lot of fun going out each week to photograph the progress in the garden!

Thanks to all who stop by and visit. I didn't get to visit last week so I hope to make up for it this Saturday.

It's wonderful watching a garden grow. We just harvested the last of our peppers/capsicums a week ago, and then pulled the whole thing out for the winter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your lovely garden pics!
ReplyDeleteJust looking at them makes me hungry for some veggies!
Have a great weekend!
Oh! I can't wait until we can have garden produce! The only we're getting so far are herbs and kale. May have some strawberries in a couple weeks! And the peas are up about six inches! Love Springtime ... it's such a hopeful time for gardeners!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats fresh veggies! I wish I have the green thumb and the time to plant. Sigh. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beets!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see your garden doing so well. I planted my just recently so it will be awhile before I get anything. I hope when my green peppers start that they will come out like yours. This is my first year growing them.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the bounty from your garden.
ReplyDeleteWow - amazing and delicious! Every year I plan to grow a garden but never do more than flowers and a few goodies like tomatoes and herbs. (I enjoy the flowers more) Things are just starting to grow around here because it was cold for so long. Your garden looks terrific and I look forward to seeing more photos. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your veggies! We had such a cold spring, my garden is still in the seedling stage.
