Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
Six commenters do not have house plants; actually seven as Mystica would like to have orchids but doesn't yet. Two people had no favorite but do like their indoor plants. The remaining eight named a nice variety of favorite house plants, mostly easy to grow things. The most surprising to me was Fredamans who lives in what I think of as a cold place but she has lots of lovely plants!

The Winner from SBB #277 comments is: #14, Elizabeth who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated ARC/Review titles or (not yet updated) Love titles - all linked near the end of the post. [I'm hoping to update the book choices - maybe the beginning of next year, lol.] Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.
WEEK #278
(One Question.)
bn100 asks: What's your favorite way to use turkey leftovers??I looked but didn't see that we had discussed this before. Since we are coming up on Thanksgiving soon, when lots of families have turkey, this seemed appropriate. I do love a nice cold turkey sandwich from leftover turkey. Looking up tonight's image I found lots of yummy suggestions though!
Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.
Your turn to share: bn100 asks: What's your favorite way to use turkey leftovers??
SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Valentine and "Love" books or the February 2015 Newly Updated ARC/Review List. (My daughter pulled several of the Christmas titles to give with gift bags we made up for the nursing homes. One of these days I will get together a new box of Christmas titles.)
SBB Rules:
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on the question above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday November 18, 2016 at 5 PM central.
Never had turkey in my life. Not a meat available here other than the imported stuff which is exhorbitant! Looks a bit of a tough meat to me!! but I do like the left over receipes because that is what I follow for chicken. Pies are good!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteIn Italy we don't celebrate Thanksgiving and I have never roasted a whole turkey for other occasions.

ReplyDeleteCongrats to Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to use leftover turkey is cold turkey sandwiches and making a turkey casserole.
I agree with your idea Martha. Any sort of sandwich sounds good.
ReplyDeleteI love making soup with leftover turkey. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Elizabeth!
My favorite is a cold turkey sandwich on rye bread layered with turkey, cranberry sauce and some stuffing. I never get tired of turkey leftovers.

I like to have sandwiches and make a turkey hash with the turkey, dressing, potatoes, gravy, veggies and add onions--or a hash of just turkey, potatoes, onions and cheese.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Elizabeth!
