Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
The largest group of us have Kindles of several varieties. There are also those with Sony and Nook. There are several commenters who do not have kindle or other ereaders available in their countries. Q- to those of you with Kindle Fire or Paperwhite --- do those read to you like the older generation? I haven't found the answer to that question yet.

WEEK #141 (One Question.)
Q1. Mary P asks: Do you go to the theatre to watch plays, musicals and productions??
A: I don't go on a regular basis but I have been to theatre in Philadelphia when young and numerous times in West Palm Beach at the Kravis Center. Here in North Florida we have been to plays at Chipola College and some quaint local productions at nearby communities.

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! We still have a supply of questions but from the same people so hopefully others will send more in -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify to use.
Your turn to share:

Very seldom but I do enjoy the odd play.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a live production in several years. The only thing recently is my nephew's music band performances, which have been fun since they remind me of when I was in the band in high school.
ReplyDeleteNo, don't get a that much where I live (if at all).
ReplyDelete1. My friends and I go to the movies about once a month. My dad and I have season tickets to our local regional theatre. My husband and I always go to our local Shakespeare festival every summer. And I run a community youth theatre that puts on 12 plays a year, so I am usually in a theatre for rehearsal and running a show.
ReplyDeletewe used to go see local plays a lot more when my sister acted. She was in many local Chicago theatre plays. Now my niece is getting the acting bug so we will start seeing shows again.
ReplyDeleteNo, I do not. I live in a very small city.
ReplyDeleteI used to go a lot more, and there are a lot of theatre opportunities in my area, but I don't make the effort to go more than once in a couple of years.
ReplyDeletehum no, i went a little before but not since i lost my father ( the better one are far away and need a car for transportation for exaample so i can't go) but honestly at teh moment i'm not really interested in attending either
ReplyDeleteI haven't gone in years. My husband doesn't like to go to the theater and I really don't like to go alone.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Natasha!
ReplyDeleteI went a few times when I was younger as part of a field trip. Now that I'm older I don't go. I've heard of a few good ones that have been in my city but I never liked them that much in my younger days. I highly doubt I will like them any better now.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy going to the theatre but having gone too much. At a small regional theatre, I did see a comedic version of "The 39 Steps".
ReplyDeleteI don't go as often as I used to. None of the local productions appeal.
ReplyDeletenot really
ReplyDeleteCongrats Natasha. WTG !
ReplyDeleteI attend some plays yearly put on by our local play group and the showcases they put on at the end of the year. Haven't been to a Broadway play in awhile though.

Yes, I enjoy theatre productions, particularly musicals and plays (especially if I've read the play beforehand).
ReplyDeleteA recent favorite production that I watched was of Romeo and Juliet performed at the Kourion Ancient Theatre...an archaeological site in Cyprus. :)
haven't for some time, but usually do like them when I have attended.
ReplyDeletewe have an outdoor park venue for summer productions that I think would be
fun to experience.
I haven't gone in a long time.
ReplyDeleteI live in a small town so unfortunately I do not.

I try to do that as often as possible but we don't get a lot of good ones in my country. But when there is, I pounce!
ReplyDeleteI used to when I was little, I haven't been in a long time though.
