I am linking with Sunday Post at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's Monday! What Are You Reading now at The Book Date.
Thank you to Sheila for the years that she handled this meme.
Thank you to Kathryn for taking up the baton.
What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I had another good week working away. This week I have some traveling days.
My DH had an old friend visit with his new RV. The guys had a great visit comparing notes and planning projects.
We've had rain but not too much cold. The garden and trees are liking the wet.
I hope everyone came through the storms okay.
Reading was good even though I only finished two books; one ebook and one audio. I am mid way through another. I posted five reviews, one with tour giveaway; I also posted a challenge final update and my other usual memes and posts.
I enjoyed visiting other blogs for a day or two early in the week.
Thanks as always to all the nice people who visit me.

In Time for You (Knights in Time Book 4)
by Chris Karlsen
I like time travel so I accepted this for review and giveaway.
Another book in the exciting, best-selling time-travel romance series, Knights in Time.
While horseback riding in the English countryside, sisters, Electra and Emily Crippen find themselves trapped in a tear in time. Thrown back to 1357 England and caught by a local noble, they are in a place that is home but as frightening and unfamiliar as an alien world would be. With no idea how the tear in time came about, the one thing they do know is: they must stay together and stay near to where the event took place in hopes of discovering the way back to their modern life. That certain need to stay together is the first certainty taken from them when one sister is forced to remain in England and one is sent miles away to Wales by royal order.
There is one other hope for help the sisters don’t know exists. It’s Electra’s lover, Roger Marchand. A time traveler himself, he never told her of his past. When he realizes what has happened to the sisters, he enlists the help of a scientist friend to help him open the suspected passageway through time. Any effort to save Electra and Emily will likely cost him his life. This was the time Roger came from, a time when his country, France, was at war with England. If he is discovered on English soil while searching for the sisters, he will either be killed or taken prisoner of war. Any risk is worth saving the life of the woman he loves.
April 3, 2016 - I am a bit behind on my old testament so I will take extra time this week to get caught up. Reading The One Year Bible again along with my husband and others from our church. I will also be listening (sometimes) to the companion commentary online.
I posted five reviews last week which brought me up to date. Now I only have one ready, plus what I finish this week.
I have these reviews scheduled for April:
April 2 Tour Review: Nobody but You by Jill Shalvis (NG)
April 2 Discussion Ladies Book Club: Arena by Karen Hancock. (I plan to post the review and Giveaway Saturday 4/9.)
April 5 Release day Review: What We Find by Robyn Carr (NG)
April 23 Tour Review The Path by Peter Riva (iRead)
I am starting the five author reviews committed with no specific dates. And my NetGalley shelves are down to 4 books now.
We will be loading a poetry book this week at eTreasure's NetGalley as part of National Poetry Month.
Welcome to Mailbox Monday.
Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. This Meme started with Marcia at A Girl and Her Books (fka The Printed Page) and after a tour of hosts has returned to its permanent home at Mailbox Monday. Thanks to the ladies sharing hosting duties: Leslie of Under My Apple Tree, Serena of Savvy Verse & Wit and Vicki of I'd Rather Be at the Beach. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.I accepted two review books this week.
TBR Triple Dog Dare update: I did pretty good for 91 days other than picking audible credits, and 4 audibles on sale, I only bought two ebooks, one a kindle version of a print book I have and the other a $.99 Kindle book. I hit 4/2 and picked up several titles that I had marked. :-)
I added more free kindle titles to my library. Are your mailbox and TBR piles blooming?

Over the past week I added only 42 free Kindle titles to my library. Titles found linked through Bookbub, Bookfun, Ereader News Today, Free Par-tay, Ignite Your Book, Inspired Reads, Pixel of Ink or Kindle ebooks.
I'm glad you enjoy working away. Since starting my current part-time job I travel a bit for work but have managed to avoid overnight trips. I once travelled a lot for a job (overseas too) and think it ruined travel for me a little. Now I prefer to be at home.
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing the Shalvis and Carr books show up on a lot of blogs--I'm going to have to look into them!
ReplyDeleteI like the added "only 42 books to my Kindle library"!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe talked about this at our Ladies Book Club. The other member who reads on ereader agreed that we have more than enough books in our libraries than we can read in our lifetimes. Ahhh - but I have lots of choices!
DeleteLove how men love to talk about their projects. I read your Jill Shalvis review earlier in the week and smiled - while I haven't read this series - similar thoughts! If you enjoyed the Patricia Briggs I think you'd enjoy the Anne Bishop series of The Others. It's quirky but I really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteIt's the second time now that I've seen the Robyn Carr novel - I am definitely intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI bet my sister would love The Girl in the Time Machine.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to read down my review stack before summer. I've been turning down all review requests no matter how awesome the book sounds. Here is what I read last week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI loved What We Find and hope you do too. April showers bring May flowers, so hopefully flip-flop season will be upon us soon! Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteI loved Nobody But You by Jill Shalvis! Such a good read. Haven't read the new Robyn Car yet but it looks like a great one too! And I love the cover!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! your reading week.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such a wonderful, busy week.
ReplyDeleteThe Robyn Carr book looks good.
Have a great reading week this week.

My Mailbox Monday
I like how your church has a strong sense of community and is reading the Bible together. I can see Jill Shavis is popular among book bloggers as is that Patricia Briggs series. I need to give it another chance.
ReplyDeleteI have just finished reading Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter, it will be tough finding a book to outdo that storyline, oh my goodness, scary.
ReplyDeleteCool reads! If I'm honest I don't think that I have heard of any of them though but I think that I have a couple of recommendations! I personally can't read that many books at once but its really cool that you can.
ReplyDeleteMy post is over at http://creativityandcrazy.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/currently-reading-1-its-monday-what-are.html of you want to see some of my currently readings. You might get some recommendations! It was my first time doing an "It's Monday! What are You Reading?" Post.
All the best,
Rachel
