The day we stopped it was raining and we decided to just sit it out. I know it sounds like we missed all the stops but we really enjoyed a leisurely time on the ship!
This is the view as we came into the Nassau Port.
I liked how these images came out a little eerie looking with the rain clouds. :-)
I was pleased to visit and see other Saturday sharings last week.
Thanks to all who stop by and visit. Hopefully I will get to visit back this week!
A big Thank You to Alyce of At Home With Books who has hosted this meme for a number of years. She is taking a summer hiatus at her blog and the new host will be Melissa at West Metro Mommy. Thank you to Melissa for picking up the responsibility.
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky being hosted this summer by West Metro Mommy. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
It's always a good day to be visiting Nassau I should think.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these photos. They look 'exotic' for me. I can imagine a wonderful cruise you must have had.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! We stopped in Nassau on our one and only cruise but didn't venture too far. It was late in the day.
ReplyDeleteYour photos do look interesting, almost like they are "old" world. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, and I do like the sound of the rum cake shop.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place... equally beautiful shot...
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm. You had me at "cakes and rum". Too bad the weather didn't cooperate.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable. How lucky are you? Super-duper lucky!

Anne's Snapshot Saturday
It looks beautiful. Oh, I do wish I were a good traveller! My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/O2D5sX
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I like both of them and could blow them up and hang them on the wall. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.
ReplyDeleteI would love to take a cruise to the Bahamas and the more southern islands of the Caribbean Sea! The colors of the building in Nassau are just so intriguing! Sigh!
ReplyDeleteOoh, Nassau! I love historical pirates, so Nassau sounds very exciting indeed. :)
