For help, Lana turns to Eli Ward, a professional meteorite hunter and her best friend for the last ten years. But Eli’s keeping secrets that could turn their friendship on its head. As the Vermont seasons change and the flowers in the wildflower meadows begin to fade, Lana must make some meaningful decisions about her family, her friendships, her love life, and her dreams.
Romantic Times says 4.5 Stars! “Lisa Dale is adept at weaving beautiful, romantic, heart-wrenching stories. She pays attention to the finest details, and the effect knocks the wind out of you. Every single scene,… character conflict and reaction is perfect. The only downside is that the story concludes, which means our time with these wonderful characters comes to an end.”

Sounds like a great book. I'd like to travel, but also enjoy being home

I've travelled around the world since I was a child and I can tell you that I have no intention of travelling anywhere else for a good long time. I love my current hometown of Ottawa, Ontario and I'm truely blessed to have found a place that feels familiar to me. We should have a white Christmas unless something weird happens with the weather...

Hi, Martha! I am a homebody. However, I "travel" all over the world through my books (also my PC, movies, TV, magazines & newspapers). Here in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia, we may have snow for Christmas : )

I am a homebody for the Holidays because all my family is near to me. However, I do dream about going someplace for the Holidays and what it may be like. And I believe we will not have a white Christmas here in Texas.

I would love to travel, but have basically done no travel. Maybe when we retire?? I am usually happy to be at home though, and escaping into a book is my favourite entertainment. I live in Alberta and we already have a few inches of snow on the ground, and the roads are terrible.

I have always wanted to travel. And love when I get the chance. But I am also always happy to come home.
ReplyDeleteWe might have a white Christmas. And we might not. In the Midwest (MO) you just never know. Heres hoping though!

I've always wanted to travel but haven't had the opportunity due to financial constraints. I'm still young so there's plenty of time though. As for snow, it -should- be a white Christmas...but then again weather here can be pretty weird sometimes.

Hi Martha:
ReplyDeleteI've done a lot of traveling. Some recreational and a lot because of writing assignments in other cities. Traveling wasn't something I wished for; it just showed up in my life.
I think I'm already following your blog. If not I will.
I would love to be a traveler.
ReplyDeleteThere is a chance of snow for Christmas. I live in PA & it is snowing as I type.

Hello. I've just discovered this site and I loved the blurb of It Happened One Night. A very emotional plot.
ReplyDeleteI have been a nomad all of my life, not by choice; it is just the way my life has evolved. So I can call no place home but home is where the heart is, and I've left part of mine in all the places I have been. Snow? Not in south Florida and that's the reason I'm here. I love snow but not the cold weather it requires.
I like staying home, but it's nice to take a vacation once in awhile which I haven't done in 5 or 6 yrs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance.
