It's Monday! What Are You Reading now at The Book Date (at Wordpress)?

What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Heather was very sick at the beginning of the week so I was on the computer for two days working remotely. She was tested Thursday for Covid and it was negative. I think she has a very bad sinus infection though or a bug that she is sharing with the other staff--- Aargh!

Our d-i-l seemed to be recovering very well and they removed half of her staples on Tuesday. We think she pushed things a bit much on Wednesday and Thursday night she had to go back into the hospital to deal with infection and blood pressure issues.

I have been spending a lot of time in the pool with my grandchildren. I taught them all how to float on their backs. The twins will be 4 next month and they learned how to jump into the water this week, letting their heads go under and swimming a bit more. Their wing floaties may be gone soon.

The 7-year-old swims like a mermaid!

Our son is out to the hospital to visit tonight so I bathed the children with a special bubble bomb I brought for them.

Then we read a couple of books and a chapter of Box Car Children.

I finished only one book last week although I am well into two more. I posted four reviews and my usual memes.

I visited 16 blogs last week.

July 12, 2020 - I need to do better to keep up daily. I keep going two days behind and then catching up. I need to be in the word every day. I am again enjoying the devotions and readings with the One Year Bible plan through You Version App. I considered changing but this is the reading group that is closest to my husband's reading so we can sometimes discuss the same passages.
I finished the six-day study: Ordinary Moments: Small Prayers That Can Change The World. I will pick out another study this week.

I completed one book and posted four reviews. I have three to post this week.
My NetGalley shelf is now at 3, plus the four titles from 2012-13 which I still hope to read this year.
I'm resisting adding any more NetGalley titles until I get some of my review titles done. I still have one carry over author ebook and two one new author ebook. I have two audiobooks from authors. I feel good getting caught up on these books.
Still many titles through InstaFreebie and many new author requests I haven't replied to.
