Sharing Beyond Books #337 Comment Giveaway February 10, 2018

Hello again and Welcome to Sharing Beyond Books, SBB!

I am going to continue to post this event biweekly (every other week) for another month and then see if I am ready to go back to four a month. I have gotten some more questions - Thank you.

Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
It was really fun to see your favorite mother or grandmother dishes. Meatloaf was mentioned four times and there were four different chicken recipes. There were some basics like rice pilaf, roast (2 mentions), spaghetti and sauce, and beef stew. Some different dishes like linguine with clams and lemon, fried prawns, perogies and egg lettuce wraps. Then there were chickpea snacks and treats like milk ice, hot cream, and "papanasi" (lucky cakes) that sound and look delicious.

The Winner from SBB #336 comments is: #17 Nikki who can make a GC choice if international or book choice from the Updated (**Finally!) ARC/Review titles or (recently updated) Love and Christmas titles - all linked near the end of the post.

**NOTE: I did post an Updated ARC and Other books for Giveaways. I have to go back and list the titles -- someday.
Please let me know your choice by completing the WINNER FORM.

WEEK #337
(One Question.)

Ashfa asks: Ashfa asks: What do you'll think of book inspired candles? Any scents that are just irresistible??
I wasn't aware of book inspired candles. Now that I see some I think I would like to try Hobbit Garden. :-)

Thanks to those who are sending in Questions. DON'T BE SHY! Surely everyone has a Q or two you'd like to ask. Input suggestions in this Suggested Question Form. At the end of each month I draw from the suggestions I used during the month and that person will get a book choice or GC. I thank everyone for submitting questions. Thanks for sending in questions! The supply of questions is dwindling so share some if you think of any -- even if they are duplicates I'll weed through or try to modify.

Your turn to share. Ashfa asks: What do you'll think of book inspired candles? Any scents that are just irresistible??

SBB Comment Winners can choose a selection from the Updated ARC and Other books, including the "Love" and Christmas titles all in one post.

SBB Rules:
a) Must be a follower.
b) Share a comment on the question above.
Open internationally and an international winner may get a smaller book or a $5.00 GC if I decide the mailing is too much.
I will pick a Comment winner from all comments made through Saturday February 24, 2018 at 5 PM central.

  1. A YouTube book reviewer I followed started making such candles which led to promoting them on her channel. In the end I decided to unsubscribe because I wasn’t interested. A candle is a candle, and I wouldn’t pay more just because its scent was inspired by a certain book.

  2. Congratulations to Nikki. I just saw these candles on Amazon. I didn't really notice the different scents so I can't say which would be irresistible. But I do love scented candles.

  6. I've never heard of book inspired candles, but then I don't really look for candles since I have cats---and once had a cat that got it's tail in a candle flame----so no more candles at my house.

  9. Wasn't aware of this. My thoughts go to Candles that smell like SEX or DEATH! I don't think so, I'll just stick to plain old vanilla.

I love candles, but never heard of these types of candles. I think I would find them intriguing though.

  12. Yay thanks for the win!

I'm not sure about book inspired candles but I see lots of candles named after book characters. If it's the same/similar thing then I'd love some ACOMAF candles please! Especially Rhys, gimme gimme!
