Sunday Words of Encouragement September 27, 2015

We didn't find a church or prayer service on board. But we spent time reading our Bibles and listening to the choir songs that we are preparing for the next few weeks and Christmas. We were pleased to sit with two other couples at our first dinner and learn that we all share faith in Christ!
This morning on our walk around the deck God graced us with a half rainbow. God is always good.

I chose the song and verse before our trip since I wasn't sure of the internet service. I thought this was fitting since Sunday will be a 'Sea Day' for us.  We have been reading in Isaiah and I have been surprised how Isaiah and Psalms refer repeatedly to "redeemer" and "salvation".
Oceans (Where Feet May Fail).
Verses for Today:
Isaiah 48:17-18
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. "If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

I thank you Lord for safe travel, for new Christian friends and for always being there for us to see Your hand and power at work.

  1. I enjoyed reading Isaiah. I never thought about it but Isaiah and Psalms do refer repeatedly to "redeemer" and "salvation". Hope you have a blessed trip.
