Thanks to everyone who commented last week.
There were five "possible" responses to using character names with one definite from Books of the Bible and a signer. There were six people who acknowledged using family names or the inclination to do so. Two responders have unique country traditions - Sri Lanka (Mystica) and saints (Miki).

Q1. Elizabeth asks: Do you tend to read more fiction or non-fiction books??
A: Clearly I read more fiction than non-fiction. I do read non-fiction but only occasionally. Most of my reading is for entertainment purposes.

I read more fiction than non-fiction, but I do read a lot of non fiction too. I read at least two non-fiction a month and normally at least 3 to 5 fiction depending on if I'm not busy at work.
ReplyDeletecurrently more fiction - but it's as a distraction mostly from heavy life issues as I advocate for justice for elderly experiencing abuse and my own recent grief at the loss of my mother..

ReplyDeletei do read more fiction because i want to read for escape, non fictions tend to be too sad or dark in my opinion so i avoid them at teh moment ( i did read more of those at a time but it's definitively not what i prefer)

Definitely more fiction. I live for fiction. To escape life. But I do read non-fictions from time to time.
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I'm more of a fiction reader. I love reading YA fiction and adult horror (a weird combination, I know!) but occasionally I will read non-fiction. I have a particular interest in reading the autobiographies of certain celebrities, professional athletes and comedians and tying into the adult horror I love, I'm fascinated by the psyche of serial killers as well as cases that haven't been solved.
