Saturday Snapshot (June 8, 2013) Garden Bounty and A Mystery Photo

I am late posting my Saturday Snapshot as we were out last evening to a wedding that was an hour and a half away. I pretty much crawled to be when we got home.

This is the yellow squash in the field.

This is some of the bounty my DH picked for us to enjoy last week!

These are garlics now hanging in the garage.

Now here is a picture for you to guess:
What is this 'bloom'? I'll tell you next week. :-)

Thanks to all who stop by and visit. I still didn''t get to visit - aargh. I hope to do so in an hour or two after I get some work done in the office.

A big Thank You to Alyce at Alyce of At Home With Books who has hosted this meme for a number of years. She is taking a summer hiatus at her blog and the new host will be Melissa at West Metro Mommy. Thank you to Melissa for picking up the responsibility.

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky being hosted this summer by West Metro Mommy. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

  1. I have some allium plants in my backgarden, which are a little like your mystery plant.

  2. That's quite the haul from the garden! I'm getting lettuce and kale out of mine right now.

  3. How fun! I posted about growing veggies too, but you have a far more substantial harvest!

  4. Seeing your photos makes me wish we had a garden. I have no idea what that bloom is.

  5. That's quite a good haul from your garden. Since I got a late start on my garden, I haven't gotten anything out of it yet.
I'm not sure what your mystery bloom is. It kind of reminds me of a Bird of Paradise bloom, but I know that is not it. Can't wait until next Saturday to find out what it is.

  6. Loving the garden bounty! I only have got flowering plants in my garden, but feel like it's time to work on getting some veggies in too now.

  7. Well done on your gardening prowess. Your last photo looks like an agapanthus- quite common in NZ or Australia- it comes in 2 colours- white or an almost jacaranda blue.
