Product Description

An easy way to help young girls see God's promises and how they can rely on His love in their daily lives.
The promise verses in this book are selected from the best-selling International Children's Bible® to offer comfort and encouragement when a girl is feeling afraid, lonely, worried, angry, dissatisfied, discouraged, sad, rebellious, impatient, or sick . . . and when they need reassurance of God's protection, love, forgiveness, help . . . and that He listens when they pray. It's a great way for children to hide God's Word in their hearts.
Sample text:  Monsters. Spiders. Being alone. Do any of these things make you feel afraid? When you start to feel fear, hold on tight to these words: God promises to take your fear away!
"So don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you. I will support you with my right hand that saves you." Isaiah 41:10

REVIEW:  This is a charming, wonderful little book to read to little girls - or for big girls to read and remember God’s promises for them!

There are 60 topics so you could read one a day for two months and then start again if you wish.  Each topic covers two pages. The section begins with four simple lines of poetry on the topic.  That is followed by three or four scripture selections that fit the promises God gives to go with the topic.  There is also a wonderful illustration for each topic.

The topics are good for girls of all ages. These are some sample titles: God's Promises When: You are worried; You need comfort. God's Promises About: Loving others; Praying for others. God's Promises of Help When: You don't feel important; Nothing is going right.

Here is an example of God Wants You To: Count your blessings.

The pages are glossy and smooth so they feel good to touch as well as see and read! This is a perfect little gift for a special girl in your family or for a friend.  Mine is going to my granddaughter and her mother or brother can help to read it to her!
