I was probably ten or so when I started cataloging my books. We had this DOS-based program on our first computer called "My Treasures" and my dad taught me how to imput my book info. Later, I switched to using Access and now, after many computer crashes and getting tired of imputing each time I had to reload, I completely switched to Goodreads. I mean, granted, a Princess sounds great, but seeing how it would be in the Middle Ages, that translates into freezing your derriere off in the cold castle (and don't even get me started on the whole personal hygiene thing).

2. Oh dear *cough* believe it or not I started to make a list when I was just a teenager. I've been using index cards and put them in a box. When I got my first computer I transferred them to a simple Word file and then years would pass before I had finally access to the internet and discover places like LibraryThing and GoodReads. These days though I only have books I still own, or recently read, on that list, which is a bit of a shame, but for some reason I didn't keep the original list as I gave many books away, and then many books got "soaked" when our storage in the basement was flooded. A list of all books ever read would be neat though!Birgithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05307461298661584480noreply@blogger.com
