Sharing Beyond Books #261 Comment Giveaway July 16, 2016

Hello again and Welcome to Sharing Beyond Books, SBB!

Thanks to everyone who commented last week.

Ten of the commenters like to read outside although most add conditions: as long as not too hot or too cold. Elizabeth is the only one with a resounding "yes" that she enjoys reading at beach and pool. The other nine commenters do not like to read outside due to: heat, noise and/or insects.

CarolL asks: As far as career, marriage and children has your life gone the way you dreamed or is it proceeding along the path you planned??
I don't recall "planning" or dreaming of how I would want my life. But, I give thanks to God, it pretty much turned out as I would want: loving husband, two children and a satisfying career. I have been blessed. If I had pushed a bit harder in my law career I might have liked to become a judge but then I would not have had my own business(es). So it worked out fine for me.

  2. I just realized I worded it wrong. The choices were the same. Lol I guess I need more sleep. :) Sorry, but I think you know what I meant. Congrats to Rubynreba. My life certainly went a lot different then I planned. All throgh my teens I used to say I'm going to have 1 child and pursue a legal career. It turned out that I married young (end of my teens) and had 7 children. :) And that took all my time because after the birth of my 7th child , my husband and I parted ways. But the good Lord blessed me because I couldn't imagine my life without my 7 children and grandkids.

  3. not really because i don't think anyone can plan to have parents falling deadly sick way WAY to early and having to step in to care for them and teh house
    Do i regret it...i don't regret helping my mother taking care of my father even if i had to take a break from my studies and i even less regret taking care of my mother now.it's normal for me but i do regret how it means i have nearly no social life

  5. I am happy the way my life has turned out to be, though of course some things could be altered or tweaked here and there! However I did not plan my life at all, it just sort of happened!!!

  6. I can't say that my life is going as a dreamed it or planned it, since I don't really plan anything. I am satisfied with how things turn out so far and I am thanking God for being where I am right now with my life.

  7. I chose the boring, safe career being an accountant----wish I would hsve followed my heart into politics and academics.

  11. I never planned anything specific for my life. There have been a lot of highs and lows and many things I wish would have turned out differently. But I think everything happened as it was supposed to and I am happy now.

  13. My life has gone in a totally different direction then I planned, but after all the struggles, I'm in a good place and loving where I am now.

  14. I didn't really plan my life. I had hopes to go to college, and that's where I met my husband. Beyond that, I've trusted God to take my life where He wants it!
